The junior duo of Chris Clark & Mitch Pierce was named to the 2002 NAIA All American Team. Chris was a Second Team selection and Mitch was an Honorable Mention selection. You can view the entire All American list here.

The Warrior's season came to a dramatic end Saturday after losing 91 - 79 to Barat of Illinois. You can read the official NAIA press release here or take a look at the box score. Making it to the Elite 8 is quite and accomplishment, congratulations to the coaches and players for another exciting season!

If you enjoy statistics, the NAIA has done a good job this year of making the tournament stats available. Here are some links:

    Friday's nationally televised victory over Mountain State was one of the most impressive shows of basketball execution I have seen in years. Westmont destroyed a team with some gifted athletes by running a system to perfection.

    The Warriors are moving on! They knocked off the #10 seed in the Tournament and now face the #7 seed Mountain State on Friday. Friday's game is scheduled to be broadcast @ 8:45 on CNNSI Nationally. If you have Cox digital cable, that is channel 251 locally.
